“Between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea lies an orchard that our grandfather bought after the collapse of the Yugoslav fruit cooperative. He produced fresh fruit throughout the year, and in winter, when the orchards were resting, they produced something much more delicate from pears – Viljamovka. The recipe remains the same since the beginning, when grandfather first distilled selected pears in 1965. To this day, they are still hand-plucked, laid down and cooked in small batches, which enriches Viljamovka with its velvety taste and flawless texture.
