SPARKLING KLEN’ART, classic method, 750 ml, 13 % alcohol

GRAPE VARIETY: CHARDONNAY (85 %) and BLUE PINOT (15 %)

COLOUR: Clear yellow in colour with golden shades.

BOUQUET: The first smell is gentle and restrained, but fresh and fruity, full of impressions of pear and apple, and in the following we notice hazelnuts and fresh almonds.

TASTE: PHENOMENALJ and harmonious wine with perception of mature fruits.

AFTERTASTE:  Long and leaves a feeling of freshness.

At 110 meters altitude difference and in the corner between Koper and Trieste, in the idyllic Istrian village of Plavje, family Klenar cultivates 12 hectares of vineyards. The location offers excellent weather conditions for the care of well-known varieties: malvazija, chardonnaya, blue pine, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and autochthonous refosco.

One of the most interesting logotypes of Slovenian winemakers is for sure Klen’art.

Yellow-golden frame is the sun, because without it there is no good wine.  Blue colour is sea, yellow is soil, violet is the colour of autochthonous variety refosco, red colour means blood and heart of the winemaker.
